Everything you need to know before we meet.

How long are sessions?

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Couples sessions are 60 minutes. Group sessions run 90 minutes. Intensive programs are customized to 3 or 6 hours depending on your needs.

How often do we meet?

Most clients start with weekly sessions, which provides consistent support and momentum. As you make progress, we can shift to bi-weekly or monthly sessions. We'll find a rhythm that works for your schedule and goals.

Do you take insurance?

I'm an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many clients find their insurance covers 50-80% of the cost. I'm happy to discuss this during our free consultation.

Is everything confidential?

Absolutely. Everything we discuss is confidential and protected by law. The only exceptions are if there's an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected child or elder abuse, or a court order—all of which are rare and would be discussed with you. Your privacy and trust are paramount.

What's your approach or methodology?

I use an integrative approach, which means I tailor techniques to fit you. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. My goal is to give you practical tools you can use immediately while also addressing deeper patterns.
